Congressman Rahm Emanuel, former Clinton aide who just became the Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Committee (it’s his job to win back the House):

“Some people argue about old Democrats and new Democrats,” Mr. Emanuel said in explaining his philosophy. “I’m a Vince Lombardi Democrat. Winning is everything.” [from the NYT]

While I’m not sure that it’s everything, I can tell you one thing: without any power we can’t do bupkis.

    Hey, I’m still waiting for your breakdown of the campaign you ran for your roommate. It sounds facinating and I would love to know more about what happened on “the inside” as opposed to what I read in the Crimson… I need some procrastination material desperately… :)

    Just someone who read something you wrote on dems-talk that had your blog url in the signature and checked out the blog…just curious on what you had to say. if you don’t want to write about it anymore thats cool, but I would prefer to remain anonymous
