That is the number of Iraqis that have died since the US-led invasion in 2003. If we as Americans cannot mourn that fact at the same time as we mourn the 3,000 dead on 9-11 and the 2,500 dead soldiers in Iraq, our nationalism has reached a point of disturbing heights.
